Kindle Paperwhite, S’ip by S’well, iPhone 7 Plus, & Rubik’s Cube are 4 things I love right now! What in the world are these? I know, I know…I talk about a lot of different toys/products/cameras on Ballcapmom.com, but I always have a few favorites. Here is a list of 4 of my most recent favorites (some I’ve blogged about, and some I haven’t…yet)! They are the S’ip by S’well, the Kindle Paperwhite, my brand spanking new iPhone 7 Plus, and my new Rubik’s Cube.
As I continue to read up on things and read new books, etc… this list of favorites will continue to change and grow. For now…here are four things I’m loving right now…in no particular order. Enjoy…
What is the S’ip by S’well?

Now, if you’ve followed my blog for a while now, you know that I am a BIG Yeti fan. I carry my Yeti with me everywhere. You can read all about it in my article called The Greatness of the YETI Tumbler. And believe me, it is great. But as you might know if you have one, if the YETI gets knocked over, it will spill. And because the YETI doesn’t completely close, I couldn’t just drop it in my purse.
I’ve solved that problem now with my S’ip by S’well! Like they say, it does have a great vacuum seal that keeps your drink from spilling out, and it keeps condensation from forming on the outside. I fill this bottle in the morning, and drop it in my purse, and it’s with me all day. And guess what – – it stays cold.
I usually just fill it with water, but anything will work in it – hot or cold. It doesn’t matter. The S’ip will keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours, and hot drinks will stay hot for 12 hours. I don’t drink any hot drinks, so I don’t know if it actually works with coffee or hot tea, but I do know that my water stays cold all day long!
And by the way…the S’ip by S’well comes in many colors! Some are solid colors, and some have cute patterns! I love my S’ip bottle!
My Kindle Paperwhite
The device is all about books, so you won’t find a camera mode, and the e-ink means only black and white. The Paperwhite offers a basic web browser, but most of the key features revolve around the reading experience.

Now most of you know that I love, love, love a good book. Nothing makes me happier than buying a brand new book from the bookstore. I love the way they look, feel, and smell. However, when I’m traveling, I typically read through several books. Instead of lugging big, heavy books around in my suitcase, I take my Kindle Paperwhite.
The Kindle Paperwhite is a very small (about the size of an iPad Mini) e-reader that allows you buy and download books from the Amazon Kindle Store straight to your Kindle. And one of my favorite things about my Kindle is that it is back-lit. So…late at night when I’m having trouble sleeping, I can quietly read without having to turn on a light and waking my sleeping husband! It’s great.
Should I Buy an iPhone 7 Plus?
iPhone 7 dramatically improves the most important aspects of the iPhone experience. It introduces advanced new camera systems. The best performance and battery life ever in an iPhone. Okay…if you are into photography, or just like taking a lot of picture for social media posts, then the iPhone 7 Plus is for you! My iPhone 6 Plus was having major issues, and it was time to go get it fixed.
Well…my husband had a great idea – – he suggested that it might make more sense to put the money I would spend fixing my iPhone 6 towards a new iPhone 7 Plus!
I quickly agreed with him and told him that I thought that was a wonderful idea! Who would pass up the chance to get the latest and greatest? Not me! Especially when the latest and greatest means an upgrade to the camera.
I’m so excited about the pictures and videos I will be able to get with this phone. It is amazing! And…the screen is large enough so I can read it without my glasses!!!
And this phone has a major upgrade – at least from what I can tell so far. If you haven’t heard about Portrait mode, then you should go to the store and check one out. Very cool. Now…it won’t be replacing my DSLR ever, but in a pinch it will do just fine…
Rubik’s Cube – One of the Greatest Toy Puzzles Ever…

I remember my first Rubik’s Cube that I got when I was a child. I was so exited, and I could not wait to try and solve this crazy puzzle. I was instantly addicted to it, and because it was small, I could carry it with me everywhere!
Eventually, I did figure out how to solve it. I couldn’t do it very quickly, but I was able to solve it without fail, every time. When I got one recently as an adult, I just figured it would all come back to me, and solving it would be no problem. Boy was I wrong.
I’ve got some studying to do. Luckily, these days with YouTube and other websites, I can easily look up how to solve it. So far, I haven’t had the time to do that, but I will! I’m determined.
